Tags are one of the simplest ways to organize information in Realcore — but when used strategically, they become much more than labels. Tags allow you to categorize deals, prospects, and other records so you can filter, analyze, and better understand how your business is performing.

And when you start using multiple tags together, the insights become even more powerful.

Transaction Tags: Understanding Where Your Deals Come From

Transaction tags are applied directly to deals and can be incredibly useful when reviewing your pipeline. Using the Advanced Filter in your pipeline, you can quickly sort and analyze deals based on the tags you’ve applied.

Some common examples include:

  • Inbound or Outbound
  • Referral
  • Renewal
  • Sublease
  • Master Brokerage

  • These tags allow you to track deal characteristics that may not already exist as a standard field within the deal itself. Over time, this helps you answer important questions like:

  • Where are most of my deals originating?
  • Which types of deals close most often?
  • What types of work are taking up the most time in my pipeline?

  • Multi-Tagging Creates Better Insights

The real value appears when you begin combining tags.

For example, a deal might be tagged as: Inbound + Referral or Outbound + Network.

By layering tags like this, you create more detailed data that allows you to identify patterns in how business is generated. When you later filter your pipeline using those tags, you gain a much clearer view of what strategies are working and where opportunities may exist.

Instead of just tracking deals, you’re building a dataset that reflects how your business actually operates.

Prospecting Tags: Customize to Your Strategy

Realcore also allows brokers to create their own prospecting tags. These are fully customizable, meaning you can structure them around the way you prospect and manage relationships.

Some agents use prospecting tags to track things like:

  • Lead sources
  • Relationship strength
  • Prospect categories
  • Target client types

  • Because these tags are defined by you, they can evolve as your prospecting strategy evolves.

More Tagging Power Coming in Angelo

Tagging will become even more powerful in the upcoming Angelo version of Realcore. In addition to existing transaction and prospecting tags, agents will be able to use tags across more areas of the system, including:

  • Contact Tags
  • Project and listing tags
  • Company tags
  • Client tags

  • This expanded tagging capability will give agents even more ways to organize information and quickly filter the data that matters most to them.

A Small Habit That Builds Powerful Data

Tagging only takes a moment when entering or updating records, but over time it creates a powerful dataset that helps you better understand your business.

When used consistently — and especially when using multiple tags together — tags allow you to move beyond simple record keeping and start uncovering meaningful patterns in your deals and prospects.

Realcore’s tagging tools are there to help you organize your work today and generate insights that support smarter decisions tomorrow.
